Cynthia Cuellar Rodriguez is a Math Teacher Leader for Milwaukee Public Schools. She has taught middle school mathematics for 20 years before leaving the classroom for coaching and curriculum work in all grades, PK to 12. She is interested in supporting teachers engineer effective learning environments for students by embedding formative assessment.

Reflecting on the Access and Equity Principle in High School Mathematics - Co-presenting with Mary Mooney
Join us as we consider productive and unproductive beliefs with an emphasis on facilitating each and every high school student's development of mathematical processes and practices. Participants will be challenged to consider beliefs that hinder students’ mathematical growth in secondary mathematics courses. The mathematics teaching practices from Principles to Actions will be discussed as a strategy for promoting growth mindsets in students and teachers.
